Appointment All services for
healthy vessels
Patients with lymphoedema and lipoedema are treated by lymphologists and phlebologists. As a vascular surgery practice, we are unable to offer these additional services.
Vein Therapy
Interventional thermal procedures are an integral part of varicose vein treatment.
Endovenous radiofrequency ablation of trunk varicose veins is a safe, low-complication, and effective treatment method. General anesthesia is not required, and anticoagulant medications do not need to be discontinued, which contributes to the safety of this procedure. Lateral varicose veins can generally also be treated using a minimally invasive technique known as foam sclerotherapy. Treatment of spider veins for purely cosmetic reasons is not performed.
Vascular Surgery
Diagnosis of vascular surgical diseases, education, consultation, and therapy.
Recognizing vascular diseases, providing counseling and education to minimize risk factors, and initiating therapeutic measures are fundamental medical responsibilities. This is particularly true when one considers that in industrialized countries, approximately half of all deaths are attributable to cardiovascular diseases.
Duplex Sonography
Special ultrasound examination method for diagnosing vascular diseases.
The combination of sonographic imaging (ultrasound) of blood vessels (arteries and veins) and Doppler imaging of blood flow is known as duplex sonography. When the direction of blood flow is indicated by color, the procedure is referred to as color duplex sonography. This procedure is particularly suitable for examining blood vessels in the extremities, the abdominal cavity, and the neck.
Outpatient Surgery
In-house operating room
The practice has an operating room on site. Many procedures can be performed under local anesthesia. An anesthesiologist administers general anesthesia when necessary, and postoperative monitoring is provided in the recovery room.
